Fungicon Soap is an potent, broad-spectrum antifungal agent designed for unique body cleansing to fight against fungi. It is primarily prescribed for the management and treatment of superficial fungal infections of the skin, working by killing sensitive fungi and preventing their recurrence.

The active ingredients in Fungicon Soap are:

  • Luliconazole 1% w/w:An antifungal medication that works by interfering with the formation of the fungal cell membrane, which weakens and ultimately kills the fungi.
  • Zinc Pyrithione 1% w/w:Often used in combination with ketoconazole (a related antifungal medicine) in other similar soaps, it helps to stop the growth of fungi that cause dandruff and other skin infections. 

Usage Instruction of  Fungicon Soap:

 

Fungicon Soap should be used as advised by a healthcare professional. 

  • Wet the affected area:Rinse the affected skin area thoroughly with water.
  • Apply the soap:Gently rub the soap onto the area to create a lather, ensuring complete coverage of the infected skin and about 1 inch of the surrounding skin.
  • Leave on skin:Allow the lather to remain on the skin for approximately 2–3 minutes.
  • Rinse thoroughly:Wash off the soap with water and pat the area dry with a clean towel.
  • Duration:Complete the full course of treatment as prescribed by your doctor, even if symptoms improve, to ensure the infection is fully cured and prevent it from returning.
